Our Courtesy Reminder Policy
Due to high demand and extended wait times, our clinic provides a courtesy appointment reminder one week prior to your scheduled visit. This reminder may be sent via text message, phone call, or email.
To ensure you receive these vital communications, please note the following technical and administrative requirements:
· EMR Automated Numbers: Our reminders are generated automatically through our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software. The text or call will come from an unfamiliar automated number, not our main office phone line.
· Smartphones and Spam Filters: If your phone is configured to silence unknown numbers or redirect unknown callers to spam folders, your device will block our reminders. Please check your spam folder regularly.
· Changes to Contact Information: If your phone number, email address, or home address has changed since your initial referral was submitted, you will not receive your reminder. Please update your information at: office@burnabyallergy.ca
· Keep Your Profile Updated: Please proactively notify our office of any updates to your personal contact information so that your medical records remain accurate.
